Quality and Innovation
Zero tolerance
for error.
In packaging, there is no good enough. There is only perfect.
Measurable at every step
Every sheet passes through measurable control — from colour to cut.
By introducing state-of-the-art print inspection systems, we ensure colour consistency, legibility and accuracy of every single impression. Inline and offline inspection systems monitor the process from the first to the last sheet.
By automating key steps — from prepress and Color Management to finishing — we remove the variability of human error and guarantee repeatability on large print runs.
For the pharmaceutical and food industries we apply zero tolerance for error: validated processes, batch traceability and complete documentation of every order.

GrafIT — research & development
We invest in research and development through the EU co-funded GrafIT project.
Baltazar is a partner in the GrafIT research-and-development project — “Strategic partnership for the research and development of smart products and services to increase the efficiency of production, work and resource use through advanced digital technologies”.
The project runs from December 2024 to December 2027 together with Zlatni bit d.o.o. and Comminus d.o.o. and with University North and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Graphic Arts, with a total value of EUR 2,648,976.52. It is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund, through the “Strengthening Strategic Partnerships for Innovation in Industrial Transition” (SPIN) call of Croatia’s Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
Within the project we research and develop more advanced printing technologies — including alternatives to UV printing — together with the use of artificial intelligence in production planning and monitoring and computer vision for real-time monitoring and control of the production process.
